1.  TAKING CARE

The marine life of rocky shores is fragile and precious. It’s up to you to care for it.

Tick the good things to do and cross out the bad things:

Look and take photos

Leave your rubbish in cracks

Sit still and watch closely to see life in a rock pool

Replace rocks quickly and carefully if you look underneath

Collect as many crabs as you can

Tread carefully and try not to damage the plants and animals

Bring your own bait don’t collect it off the rock platform

Pull off living seaweed

Colour these animals and plants in their true colours.  (Hint – you’ll find pictures of some in the stories on NCMG’s website)
