Nature Coast Marine Group:
- is a community organisation established to help protect and enjoy the marine environment in the Eurobodalla area on the NSW south coast
- has a vision of effective protection of the marine environment, backed by broad community support
- helps people to learn about the marine environment by organizing fun outings to rock shelves, rocky reefs, beaches, mangrove forests and other marine environments
- teaches people to snorkel safely
- contributes to scientific research through snorkelling and scuba diving marine life surveys
- ensures local media coverage of the marine environment, highlighting the Nature Coast’s amazing marine life and the need for marine conservation
- introduces children to their marine environment, in cooperation with local schools, the Eurobodalla Shire Council and the Marine Park Authority
- supports the Batemans Marine Park and works constructively with the Marine Parks Authority and other relevant state and local bodies.
